Joe Corbo, Vice President and General Counsel, Borgata Hotel CasinoJoe Corbo has been an executive in the gaming industry for the past 17 years. During that time, Joe has played significant roles in several gaming companies in both of the nation's two largest gaming jurisdictions - Atlantic City and Las Vegas. In 1997, Joe became the Vice President & General Counsel for the Venetian in Las Vegas. There he was extensively involved in both the pre-opening development phase and the post-opening operational phase of the then-3,000-room hotel and casino destination resort. After spending three years in Las Vegas, Joe returned to New Jersey where he is now the Vice President & General Counsel for the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa, a position he has held for the past five years. At Borgata, Joe is a member of the executive management team that was responsible for the development and successful opening of the first casino built in the Atlantic City market in 13 years.

A South Jersey native, Joe started his legal career in 1987 with the Atlantic City-based Cooper Levenson law firm. Joe commenced his gaming career in 1990 when he joined Resorts International as in-house counsel and subsequently served Harrah's Atlantic City and Park Place Entertainment in similar roles.

Prior to becoming President of the Casino Association of New Jersey, Joe had served as a Trustee of CANJ on behalf of the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa for four years. Joe is also presently serving a two-year term as a board member on the Casino Reinvestment Development Authority and serves as a board member of the Atlantic City Boys and Girls Club. Joe is admitted to practice law in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Nevada.
